Sometimes I wonder if you ever think of me

Do you remember my smile

Or the way I laugh so hard it makes me cry

I wonder if you ever  think of me

My big brown eyes and dark brown hair

The way I love with my whole being

I wonder if you ever think of me

How I am not afraid to dance in the rain

Or sing loudly to my favorite song

I wonder if you ever think of me

How I made you feel like home

And gave you pieces of me that no one else had

I wonder if you ever think of me

How you so easily whispered lies in my ear

And how you  took advantage of my big heart

I wonder if you ever think of me

How you manipulated my feelings

And made me think I self sabotage 

I wonder if you ever think of me

How you played the role of a good person

While secretly being someone else

I wonder if you ever think of me

The moment I said goodbye 

And showed you the door

I wonder if you ever think of me

And rejoice in the idea that you took a person

Who had made themselves whole and shattered them

Because I think of you
